This is a recipe whose genius is in its versatility. On the current menu, we are featuring it on our Grilled Flank Steak & Avocado Salad with Cucumbers and Puffed Jasmine Rice. But honestly, it would be stellar with all the favorites. Think chicken, or snap peas. Shrimp or english peas. Maybe grilled zucchini or pork? I think you get the idea. Also, just between us, it’s super simple. So hit up the Farmer's Market, fire up that grill and enjoy!
Soy Dressing Recipe
1/4 cup grated onion
1/2 cup soy sauce*
1/2 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
1/3 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1/3 cup lime juice
1 tablespoon yuzu koshu green chili paste**
Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Store in an airtight container in your fridge for up to a week
Tips and Tricks:
* We really like to use Pearl River Bridge Superior Light Soy Sauce. It is significantly lower in sodium and a much lighter roast, letting all the other flavors really shine.
** Yuzu koshu green chili paste is one of our favorite spicy-citrus flavor bombs in our pantry. We think it will be one of your favorites, too.
